Day 5
Kaleb continues to get better each day, he is now off the major amounts of medicine and just on one for twice a day for another week, and metacam for one more day. We've been introducing a small amount of his regular food (soaked) back into his wet food too.
He REALLY has to be on leash now for potty breaks, as he wants to play in the worst way. He is now back to carrying random objects around the house too, but still sleeping alot more than normal.

So happy to hear he's on the road to recovery!
Glad to hear he's feeling better! Here's to continued improvement!
poor Kaleb!, such a big boo boo!
Mckeely says he is still the sexiest FC boy she knows
You are still very handsome Kaleb. All the girls (and Bosley) will still love you :)
Yaaa!!
Scars and baldness - chicks dig the tough guys!
good to read k-handsome is doing better =0]
hugs
Twice this year, my young lab rescue exhibited the exact symptoms you posted earlier. I was so afraid he had bloated. Both times, it turned out it was an obstruction (rocks). The scar on Jet's belly looks just like Kaleb's; we call it his Harry Potter scar.
Although the rock-eating thing means we have to be constantly vigilant with Jet and we are hopeful he'll outgrow it eventually, I still think it's the lesser of many evils...bloat being one of those evils. The timeframe for seeking treatment with a positive outcome is SO narrow. So glad Kaleb made it to the vet in time.
thanks everyone :) each day he gets a little better
