right where he should be.

right where he should be., originally uploaded by sarah ....

The mood around the house is pretty glum and quiet as you can see. Kaleb's new bed couldn't have come at a better time, Jane hasn't even been trying to lay in it :) It seems the girlies just know. They have been sniffing at him alot, even Jane wagged her tail and gave him a drive-by kiss when K came home. He is getting a little spunkier all the time. He is great about being carried up and down the stairs, and takes all of his medication like a good boy.

2010 has been a pretty strange year full of more downs than I like. Yes there has been some great parts of this year, I just need more of them right now. I hope the next 6 months is better than the first, the forever optimist in me is hoping so.

But sometimes I wonder if this shit happens just so I have something to write on my blog.

Well, you could just as easily write about good shit, so I am hoping your year is on an upswing from here on!

YEP!! Nothing else matters besides that I still have him, believe me, I am MORE than grateful for that. That IS the best thing to come out of this ordeal, well that and the extra snuggles and kisses he gets ... and returns happily :)

You certainly do deserve a better second half to 2010 than the first half and I am sending good vybes your way to help make sure it will be. Keep positive - the good stuff is just around the corner and we'll love to see that on the blog too!

I think that the bed came at the best time. Good to hear Kaleb is doing OK. Keeping you, Kaleb and the rest of the gang in my thoughts.

I don't think I've ever commented before, but I've been reading for a while now. I just wanted to send K a big hug (gently) and get well wishes from me and my lab mix Kasey.
