i love the long days of summer ... this was taken anout 9:15pm, just before the sun set behind the couless for the day.
We came to this spot for a nice long hike earlier in the day, and I knew I had to come back at the end of the day and capture the gorgeous light.
And could someone please tell me how my dog is 9.5? It really just hit me that he is getting closer to being 2 digits ... sunsets do that ... they make you think.

beautiful photo. might be one of my all time favourites. I love the glint in his eye. and yeah, I can't believe he is almost 10 either. Crazy how fast time goes by...
