The BEST dog toy ever!

I always bring a toy with me when I run the dogs in the fields. Not so much so they can play fetch, but so I can distract Gyp if she gets all weird. Yes, Gyp gets weird. If Kaleb starts alerting on birds and circling - and heaven forbid flushes one, Gyp wants to GET OUT OF TOWN - she has even bee-lined all the way back to the car because she was so freaked out, she also hates walking in the dense brush. So I bring a ball with me to distract her and she gets over her phobia pretty darn quick.

Today however, I forgot the toy in the truck. DAMMIT. Gyp started to get weird about 10 minutes into our walk, and we were too far to go back and get the toy. She starts to get farther away from me and gets slower and her ears get all twitchy and her eyes won't focus on me. Oh crap I thought.

Think Sarah, think.

I had a moment of brilliance. I would like to introduce the newest and bestest dog toy around , I am sure it will catch on like wild fire.

I am proud to introduce, the Leash-Ball [TM]...

Gyp loves the Leash-ball [TM]!

She'll never get scared, ever again!

Let's see if Kaleb likes it ....

Duh, of course he does.

meanwhile, Jane looks on
"Losers. Seriously, who plays with a leash ..."
don't dis it until you try it, Jane...
hmmm if those Losers like it ... maybe I'll try it ...

If it's good enough for Jane, anyone will like it ....

Look! It's Terrier approved! That means your dog will love it too!
Go get your Leash Ball [TM] TODAY!

Leashes are great in a pinch. All my best leather leashes are scarred with tooth marks. With my heavy chomper I have to be really careful about how I present the leash to him, I make sure the hardware is in my hand before I allow him to tug because I don't want to have more broken teeth removed from him...

Love it!!! The third picture of Gyp running toward the camera with Kaleb in the background is stunning. I love the colors and the expression on her face. Simply wonderful!

I just LOVE your action photos - you know, the ones where you stop your dogs in mid-flight with those big smiles on their faces! These ones of Gyp are PRICELESS. I can't seem to do it with my camera tho. Would you mind sharing with me what shutter speed + aperture +ISO settings your camera's on when you get these cool shots???? I'd be forever in your debt :>}} THANX! (but no worries if you're too busy either...the bloggy world must go on!!)

What joyful dogs you have! I think every dog should have a Leash Ball. When they are ready...we will carry them in our dog toy store.

That would be great except for the metal, my rotty(Buffy)would surely
break a tooth. I found a great tug toy called the big tug at bigdogtugtoys.com if your dog likes to tug its awesome, my Buffy loves it. Great site by the way I really
enjoyed it thank you and keep it up.
